With a repertoire encompassing everything from classical to contemporary music, all arranged especially for string quartet and trio, Steel City Strings are available to hire for weddings, parties, functions, and business events.

Steel City Strings' classical repertoire contains all the typical ceremonial music for weddings, civil partnerships, including Bach's 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring', Schubert's 'Ave Maria', and Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March', as well as other well-known classical music from some of the world's best composers. If you're unsure of the sorts of music that are played at ceremonies, or would like some advice on what would be appropriate for aisle processions, the signing of the register and other moments in the ceremony, do contact us, and we'll advise you as best we can - however, remember that it's your special day!

If it's a function or party that you're organising, why not while away the evening with pop and jazz classics, all wonderfully arranged for strings. Whether you're looking for Gershwin and Cole Porter, the best of the Broadway and West End musicals, or even a bit of ABBA, Steel City Strings can provide music to suit any taste. Steel City Strings provide the perfect accompaniment to meals, formal dinners, or business events and function - we act as an elegant and interesting musical accompaniment, or as a performance group if you'd prefer.
